The Suarez Family Story

The Suarez story begins with Domingo Suadi, who arrived from the Middle East and planted the family's first 70,000 coffee trees in Alto Quiel in 1900. Today, his descendants continue the tradition alongside members of the indigenous Ngöbe community, maintaining a commitment to social responsibility and sustainable farming that supports around one hundred local families.

Where the Geisha Grows

Grown on 70 hectares of volcanic soil in Alto Quiel — a sub-region of Boquete widely regarded as one of the finest coffee-growing zones in the world. The beans are washed with pure mountain water from the Alto Quiel highlands and sun-dried using traditional methods with controlled humidity, the same approach the family has used for over 100 years. The farm operates in a GMO-free organic environment on the slopes of Volcán Barú.

Flavor Profile

Bright, clean cup with vibrant citrus notes of lemon, orange, and tangerine up front, followed by sweet layers of peach and nectarine. The aroma is distinctly floral — jasmine and roses — setting the tone before the first sip. Smooth body with refined acidity that balances against the fruit-forward sweetness. A classic Geisha profile, executed with over a century of family expertise.
